For all those clients overseas who have communicated with us only via telephone and email over the years, and haven’t dealt with us in person here are a few pictures of the store here in London’s fashionable Notting Hill so you can see the Malcolm Betts HQ.
We have a mixture of modern cabinets and Antique restored showcases, and very old French mirrors which really suits the style of Malcolm’s work. Old meets new.
Since these pictures were taken we now have an amazing vintage glass table at the back where we often sit down with clients when working on commissions, and also a beautiful hand made carpet by Deirdre Dyson, which was made for us and personally overseen by the designer herself, as she is a fan of Malcolms, having spotted him whilst he was exhibiting at Chelsea Crafts Fair many years ago.
The workshop is downstairs where Malcolm works at the bench with 3 assistants, so we are all under the same roof. It makes it easy when Malcolm is working to pop up and see clients when we are all are working on a bespoke commission together, or if he just wants to say Hi, which is often the case!
